Band Camp and a healthier lifestyle

Pre-camp for band camp starts tomorrow.  Working in the office has been...interesting.  It is really teaching me patience and understanding with parents as well as the people I work with.   It's easy work and the money will help out a lot this summer, so I will continue to put a smile on my face and just do the things asked of me.  I've heard that things get better when camps actually start, so I'm really looking forward to that.

This weekend I attended my Aunt's birthday party at a place called Painting with a twist.  It was A LOT of fun.  I never thought that I could actually paint something that looked decent, but I did, and I am very proud of it.
This is the finished product:
There is a teacher that walks you through the painting and the twist is that you can have a "beverage" while painting.  I recommend this place to everyone.  And I did not partake in beverage proving that you can have fun without the "twist."

Tomorrow I start my weight loss regimen.  I'm planning to set a goal each week so I'm not just looking at weight loss.  My first goal, however, will be about weight loss.  I hope to lose 3 pounds this week in addition to working out 5 out of the 7 days for at least 30 mins.

Lastly, the boys' birthday is coming up so fast.  It's so hard to believe that they are about to be 2.  Time is flying by.  And it's amazing to think about where they came from.
